Anthony Gerritsen

Anthony Gerritsen is a professor for The University of Nebraska at Kearney in the Accounting and Finance Department. He received his MBA from Kearney State College in 1991. He specializes in teaching Managerial Accounting, Tax Accounting, and Finance.

His Fulbright grant will present him with the opportunity to teach at the State University of Finance and Economics in Saint Petersburg Russia.

With 10 years of teaching experience and my varied interests in accounting, my goal is to successfully contribute to the faculty and students of this University.

My focus for the coming year is to create a managerial accounting course that will provide my students with the knowledge needed to successfully maintain a business. I also will present lectures to interested business owners concerning accounting, finance, and tax issues. My material will be adapted to the needs of the institution and its students.

I have traveled to Russia four times and I am very excited to experience living in Saint Petersburg.
I am very honored that I have the opportunity presented to me. I will experience professional and personal friendships beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
