Polina Golovatina

My name is Polina. I am from Ekaterinburg, the Urals region. I am a second-year postgraduate student in the Faculty of International Relations at the Urals State University, Ekaterinburg, the Faculty I graduated. I am going to do MA degree at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I am affiliated at the Center of Russian and eastern European Studies. The theme of my research is relations between the Allies during WWII. And I am going to work at the same problem during my studying at the Univeristy of Illinois. Because it is not just a historical question but question of tolerance and cooperation that proved to be good experience that could be used not only during the wartime but also and definitely in peace. On my coming back to Russia I am planning first of all to finish my dissertation, then continue my research, teaching at a University, but apart from this I am going to work in the sphere of international relations and of peace-keeping in particular.
