Karandashev Victor

Victor Karandashev is a Professor of Psychology. He graduated from Leningrad (currently St. Petersburg) State University and received his Ph.D and Sc.D degrees there as well. Now he is working as a Professor of Psychology at Vologda State Pedagogical University in Russia. Vologda is a beautiful ancient city about 600 km to the east from St. Petersburg. He teaches an Introductory Psychology course to fresh psychology students, Methods of Teaching Psychology for graduate students, supervises research projects which psychology degree students and Ph.D students conduct. His research interests are cognitive
representations of knowledge. During his fellowship at James Madison University, Virginia, US, he plans to research cognitive
representations of Introductory Psychology knowledge in American Education as they are represented in teachers’ and students’ minds.
