Sherri McCarthy

Dr. Sherri McCarthy, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology, is internationally known for her work in developing critical thinking skills and the application of psychology to issues in criminal justice and education. She is the American Psychological Association Division 2 (Teaching) Liaison to the Council on International Relations in Psychology and one of the founders of the P3 Global Psychology Project. She has been the lead faculty member for the graduate program in Counseling: Human Relations at NAU-Yuma since 1996. Her published research spans many areas of psychology, including anger management training, substance abuse issues, grief and bereavement counseling, adolescence,personality, teaching, assessment and other topics.
