Jesse Menefee

I recently graduated with honors from the College of Wooster with a double major in Russian Studies and English. I've been studying the Russian language since high school, and it's been a constant and loyal companion of mine throughout these eight or so years. I visited Petersburg for a week during my senior year of high school, and I studied in Krasnodar, Russia for one semester during my junior year at Wooster.
I plan to attend some courses on literature at Smolny College in St. Petersburg in addition to conducting independent research on the work of the Decandent Symbolist, Fyodor Sologub (author of The Petty Demon). I hope to incorporate the translation of essays dealing with Sologub's fiction into my project.
