Russian hour in Vermont

Ekaterina Krasikova, current FFDP grantee, associate professor of North-Caucasus Federal University, hosted an event “Coffee Hour = Celebrate Russia!” at Saint Michael's College, Vermont on the September 9, 2015.

The celebration attracted attention of many (more than 150 people) students and staff members. Ekaterina was introduced to public by Jacqui Samale Roden, Coordinator of International Student Services and then she made a speech about Russia, Russian culture and Russian cuisine in general and Blini or Russian pancakes in particular.

All the guest enjoyed Blini – widely popular russian-crepes, commonly eaten during the Maslenitsa festival in Russia, cooked by professor Krasikova. Moreover they had a chance to listen to Russian music and watch presentations about main cities of Russia and the most popular sights of this wonderful country.
