The Humphrey Fellowship Program

We are glad to announce the competition for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for 2018-2019. The Humphrey Program provides mid-career professionals an opportunity to pursue graduate-level academic course work with professional development activities. Humphrey Fellowships are limited to one academic year, preceded, if appropriate, by a period of English-language training.

The Program provided training in a number of fields: Agricultural and Rural Development; Economic Development, Finance and Banking; Natural Resources, Environmental Policy, and Climate Change; Urban and Regional Planning; Communications/Journalism; Law and Human Rights; Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration; Trafficking in Persons Policy and Prevention; Technology Policy and Management; Human Resource Management; Educational Administration, Planning and Policy; Higher Education Administration; Teaching of English as a Foreign Language; Public Health Policy and Management; HIV/AIDS Policy and Prevention; and Substance Abuse Education, Treatment and Prevention.

The deadline for submitting applications is August 1, 2017.

In the U.S., the Humphrey Program is managed by the Institute of International Education (IIE). The Humphrey Program is on Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn. Interested applicants can interact with current Fellows and alumni, and learn more about the program through IIE’s semi-weekly posts on Facebook.
