John Burns is in Academic City near Novosibirsk and is teaching a course on chronobiology (the study of circadian and other biological rhythms) in the Department of Physiology at Novosibirsk State University. "I am enjoying my time here and have noticed lots of changes since I visited in 1993. Russia is a fascinating and quite interesting place to be - the people are great. My students are practicing their English as well as learning about my specialty in biological rhythms. This summer I hope to do a travel experient involving transporting fruit flies on the Trans-Siberian railroad. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org." In mid August he returns to his teaching at Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia.
