I am interested in social psychological problems of transitional period, especially in adaptation of Russians to social and economic changes, transformation of political and economic attitudes, new patterns of social, gender and ethnic identity.
I took part in several international projects, in particular in the project of the Open Society Institute (Soros Foundation) “Changes in attitudes to money during transitional period in Russia” (2000-2001), in the projects of the Moscow Science Foundation “Civil culture in modern Russia” (1998-1999) and “Attitudes to freedom and liberty in Russia” (1997-1998). During my stay at Rice University (Houston) sponsored by Fulbright Program I plan to study gender differences in attitudes to money and economic behavior.
