I am Evgeny Morgun from Moscow,Russia. I am docent in Moscow State University at the faculty of Soil Science and I am also senior scientist in the Institute of physico-chemical and biological problems of soil science of Russian Academy of Sciences. The area of my interests includes geochemistry of soils and landscapes, experimental investigation of soil mineral forming processes, stable isotope geochemistry of sulfur, carbon and oxygen. I am going to work in Texas A&M University in College Station, TX together with Dr. Thomas W. Boutton in the Department of Rangeland Ecology and Management. My project is entitled Environmental Change and Its Geographical
Specificity: Quantification By Using Stable Isotope Biogeochemistry. It is directed on to the problem of global change forecast, C-sequestration in the soil, its geographical specificities, and paleogeographical reconstructions. The photo was taken during the field work in the upper Don region.
