Daniel Saalfeld’s poems have appeared in numerous literary journals, including MARGIE: The American Journal of Poetry, The Southeast Review, North Carolina Literary Review, storySouth, Poet Lore, South Dakota Review, Folio, Valparaiso Poetry Review, and The Seattle Review. He holds an MFA from American University and a BA from The University of North Carolina. Between his undergraduate and graduate work, he studied at the UniversitÈ de Bourgogne in France and worked several odd jobs across the United States. Currently, he is a Lecturer of English at The Catholic University of America. He will be teaching modern and contemporary American poetry and creative writing at Volgograd State University.
