FFDP 2015-2016 projects
Marina Sheveleva, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages at the Higher School of Economics in Perm, took part in the Round table "Different cultures, similar challenges" https://njfulbright.wordpress.com , which was organized by New Jersey Fulbright Chapter together with Montclair State University. Current grantees and alumni of the Fulbright Program from USA, Russia, Afghanistan, Spain and Indonesia discussed problems faced by people of different countries; the audience actively participated in the discussion.
North-Caucasus Federal University started implementing the syllabus developed by Associate Professor Ekaterina Krasikova. Ekaterina did it for students majoring in translation during her 2015-16 FFDP grant at St. Michael’s College-Graduate Program, the Applied Linguistics Department; Colchester, VT.
Maria Tutorskaya, Senior teacher of I.M. Sechenov 1st Moscow State Medical University, shared her professional experience at RAS https://www.facebook.com/groups/435172736546732/permalink/10587458241894....
While developing her syllabus at MCPHS University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, the School of Arts and Sciences; Boston, MA within her FFDP 2015-16 Program, Maria met Dr. Carry and invited the latter to participate in this on-line event. The 2 sides agreed to conduct joint scientific events, including seminars and publications.
Andrey Turkin, Candidate in Physics and Mathematics, Associate professor at National Research University of Electronic Technology, is going to implement a course on Computer Vision http://www.in-versia.ru/blogs/1/posts/688 that he developed at the Center for Research in Computer Vision at the University of Central Florida (UCF) (Orlando, FL).
