In recent years I have taught law school courses in Moscow on various subjects, and will return to Moscow to teach again for the 2005 spring semester. My particular interests are environmental law, foreign trade law, and mediation.
I have degrees from Harvard, Michigan, Northwestern, and Columbia, and first lived in Moscow for the 1966-67 academic year. I worked on Russian matters at the U.S. Commerce Department 1968-1990 and at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 1990-2003.
My publications include a book on East-West trade and articles on that topic in the Columbia Law Review, Minnesota Law Review, Ohio State Law Journal, Law and Policy in International Business, and other periodicals.
I live with my wife June in Washington, DC. Our e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org and our telephone number is 202/244-3974.
