Malikova Maria Emmanuilovna -- literary scholar, translator
Graduated from Leningrad State University, Department of English language and literature, in 1990. During the first half of 1990-ies did not pursue literary studies, preferring to earn money. Since late 1990-ies became post-graduate student at the Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkinskij Dom) in St. Petersburg and at the Department of Literature and the Arts at the University of Tampere (Finland), received "kandidatskaja" and PhD degrees. Since 2002 have been working as a researcher at the Department of Comparative Literature at Pushkinskij Dom. Published a book on Nabokov (in Russian): Maria Malikova. Nabokov: Auto-bio-grafia (St.P.: Akademicheskij proekt, 2002), prepared a volume of Nabokov's collected poetry and translations for the academic series "The Poet's Library" ("Biblioteka Poeta", 2002), wrote commentary to some of the writer's works for his 5-volume Collected Russian Works (SPb.: Symposium, 1999-2000). Recently I have become interested in Soviet literature of NEP period. I live and work in Petersburg, have a dog (a dachshund).
