Visiting Scholar

Competition for 2021-22 academic year is open.

General Information

The Fulbright Scholar Program offers Russian citizens grants for the 2021-2022 academic year as a result of an open, merit-based competition for the following types of activities:

  • Lecturing (including master-classes for those in creative disciplines);
  • Research;
  • Lecturing / research OR master-classes.
  • Projects are supported for a period of 3 to 6 months in the Research category; and for 3 to 9 months for Lecturing (Master-class).
  • Finalists are affiliated with a U.S. university, archive as well a museum or a research center.

The Fulbright Scholar Program in Russia is open to:

Russian scholars, independent researchers and faculty holding a Candidate, Doctor Degree or Ph.D.

Professionals in the arts, applied sciences, museum, archive, library staff without a degree.
